Synthesis Leadership is a 6-month program aimed at creating coaching-oriented, self-aware, and compassionate leaders of the future. Its purpose is to provide a balanced approach to leadership in a way that embraces both care for others and accountability, recognizing the dynamic tensions leaders navigate so that people feel deeply engaged and motivated to bring their best to the work they do.

 

About Our Team

DEBORAH REIDY, M.Ed., PCC

Deborah Reidy’s specialty is distilling complex ideas into simple yet powerful tools that enable you to achieve outstanding results. She draws upon her background in organizational learning, neuroleadership, positive psychology, systems thinking and other bodies of knowledge to help you make progress on your goals.

She has decades of first-hand leadership experience, having worked in government, nonprofit and industry. For 25 years, she’s also been a sought after leadership development coach, consultant and facilitator. Deborah’s been certified as a coach since 2008 and has coached thousands of people from all walks of life.  She is a Professional Certified Coach and has numerous other degrees and certifications. She is author of the book Why Not Lead? and lives in Western Massachusetts.

SHELLEY PERNOT, MBA, CPA, PCC

Shelley is particularly adept at helping high performing women who are hard on themselves step into their power as leaders.  Her transformational approach focuses on 3 key aspects: clarity of leadership purpose, compassion for self and confidence. She is the owner of leadership coaching firm, True North Coaching and Development.  

Her recent clients have included:  Shell, Airbus, Dell, the NIH, Baker Hughes and The University of Texas Center for Professional Education.  Prior to coaching, Shelley held several leadership roles in Finance and Risk Management at fortune 500 firms and spent half of her 25-year career working abroad in the UK, Middle East, and Africa. Shelley is also the award winning author of Running on Empty: The Irreverent Guru’s Guide to Filling up with Mindfulness and lives and works on beautiful Lake Austin in Texas.

The cost for the entire program is $2500/participant. This includes 3 modules, 2 group coaching sessions, 2 facilitators, opportunities to learn from one another, and state of the art content. 

While Synthesis Leadership is an investment, it’s absolutely a good value.

Why This Leadership Program is Different

MODULE 1: LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION

This module invites you to explore the principles of mindful leadership, emphasizing quality of leadership presence.  You’ll identify your core values and craft a personal leadership philosophy that reflects who you are and how you aspire to lead.  You’ll uncover the internal compass that shapes your decisions and relationships and identify opportunities to live more in alignment. 

 

MODULE 2:  NAVIGATING THE STORMS

Leadership isn’t just about making decisions–it’s about staying steady through emotional storms.  In this session, you’ll build the emotional intelligence that drives trust, resilience, and performance.  Learn how to spot emotions–yours and others’–before they take over.  Practice pinpointing feelings, reading body language, and managing triggers in real time.  You’ll leave with practical tools to stay grounded under pressure and lead with more calm, connection and impact when it matters most.

 

MODULE 3: EMBRACING A LEADERSHIP MINDSET

This module supports in cultivating a mindset aligned with growth.  You’ll identify and manage internal saboteurs—those limiting beliefs that undermine effectiveness.  You’ll learn to navigate inner resistance with curiosity and care, rather than criticism.  The end result?   You’re better equipped to shift from reactive patterns to conscious, purpose-driven choices.

 

INSIGHT APPLICATION SESSIONS

Leadership doesn’t just grow in theory; it grows in practice.  Our Insight Application Sessions give you a live lab to apply what you’re learning.  You’ll jump into group coaching rounds, sharpen your skills with real-time feedback, and debrief lessons learned.  Deborah and Shelley will be there to listen, coach, and challenge you.  This is a place to take risks, build confidence, and turn insight into action.
